Description: Clinical Genomics
This is the first message in the Zulip Clinical Genomics Stream, topic hello!
Thanks for setting this up David.
My pleasure. I look forward to this being a tool that helps everyone. We get through it so we can get to it. :-)
Fellow CG chatters - I see that Zulip provides an email address as a means to send messages to the stream. Thoughts on registering that email address to receive emails from our listserv in Zulip? Might allow some to really focus on just Zulip as their means to keep up with things. Thoughts?
The challenge would be how replies would work. If you read the post here but have to sign up to the list in order to respond, that doesn't help much. It may make more sense to let traffic just naturally migrate.
Good call.
Part of that migration will be encouraging a context-sensitive quorum of individuals to sign up here and, as a work group, decide that we're going to at least try to communicate here. We, like many other WGs, will have to establish patterns around how much gets talked about here and how much gets talked about on the FHIR chat.
Anyone aware of plans to consolidate FHIR and HL7 servers?
I don't think so. chat.fhir.org is a fhir.org thing aimed at the implementer community. chat.hl7.org is an HL7 thing aimed at the standards development community
