David Johnson (Nov 20 2017 at 18:31):Comodo contacted me to let me know that I can contact them.
David Johnson (Nov 20 2017 at 18:32):I told them that I am interested @Adam Woodcock in getting code signing cert
David Johnson (Nov 20 2017 at 18:32):they said they are having a sale
David Johnson (Nov 20 2017 at 18:32):But I haven't heard back on what that means yet
David Johnson (Nov 20 2017 at 18:32):but I think it's the right path to go down
Adam Woodcock (Nov 20 2017 at 18:36):If they're having a sale of some kind that definitely sounds like it would be helpful to us in terms of getting this sorted out. Probably makes it The Most Affordable Option depending on how good the sale is.
David Johnson (Nov 20 2017 at 19:07):I never heard anything about that gforge pointer record
David Johnson (Nov 20 2017 at 19:07):dammit
David Johnson (Nov 20 2017 at 19:11):Comodo emailed and told me to call
David Johnson (Nov 20 2017 at 19:11):Calling now
David Johnson (Nov 20 2017 at 19:18):well, i hung up on them
David Johnson (Nov 20 2017 at 19:18):they required i use internet explorer to make the purchase
David Johnson (Nov 20 2017 at 19:18):i'm having a bad microsoft day
David Johnson (Nov 20 2017 at 19:18):but i did find this out
Adam Woodcock (Nov 20 2017 at 19:18)::/
David Johnson (Nov 20 2017 at 19:18):I can purchase this through the same company that we just got our ssl for hl7.org
Adam Woodcock (Nov 20 2017 at 19:19):Oh, that's helpful.
David Johnson (Nov 20 2017 at 19:19):I'm going to log in to there and see what I can figure out
Adam Woodcock (Nov 20 2017 at 19:19):Sure, makes sense.
David Johnson (Nov 20 2017 at 19:19):especially because our login is already associated with the organization
Adam Woodcock (Nov 20 2017 at 19:19):Mmhm.
David Johnson (Nov 21 2017 at 18:10):Where's the md file for the dns?
Adam Woodcock (Nov 21 2017 at 18:11):It's under hardware. I'm going to move it to Network/DNS though, since I realized that's a folder that exists.
Adam Woodcock (Nov 21 2017 at 18:11):It's been moved now.
David Johnson (Nov 28 2017 at 17:06):GForge added the pointer record on their rackspace servers and it all works now.
David Johnson (Nov 28 2017 at 19:05):I've got to upload a .8 gig file to youtube. I'm thinking about 5:30 being the best time to do so.
Grahame Grieve (Dec 06 2017 at 22:29):what's not clear to me about this Zulip is how it's going to be organised. Are we going to have a stream per committee? per product family? per published standard?
David Johnson (Dec 06 2017 at 22:30):In the EST meeting last week the concensus was a working group is a stream and has topics. However, other things could certainly be streams.
Grahame Grieve (Dec 06 2017 at 22:31):so should we create those streams?
David Johnson (Dec 06 2017 at 22:31):I think it's something that is being rolled out slowly as working groups come on, and not a mass creation
David Johnson (Dec 06 2017 at 22:32):Co Chairs are being invited, and they have the ability to invite, but it's not open invitation.
Grahame Grieve (Dec 06 2017 at 22:32):ok
David Johnson (Dec 06 2017 at 22:32):And as necessary, the streams are being created
David Johnson (Dec 06 2017 at 22:34):I see that I have organizational admin and the ability to update the description. I'll get a link to the GOM in the description now. If there's another better place, please let me know
Grahame Grieve (Dec 06 2017 at 22:35):well, what we did for FHIR is create a page on the wiki. We can add additional notes to that as we see fit, and reference the GOM from there
David Johnson (Dec 06 2017 at 22:35):I see. So there's a page on the wiki that outlines zulip usage. That makes sense.
Grahame Grieve (Dec 06 2017 at 23:31):what would be really cool would be if there was a concall stream where conferences were announced with appropriate info/links a few minutes before they start....
Grahame Grieve (Dec 06 2017 at 23:31):there's a google calendar bot....
