Are you looking for messages outside of FHIR? or was it just a general question asking if any of the HL7 product families could be used? If just an overall general question - I'd suggest we move this to a chat on the FHIR Zulip. It may get us additional individuals deep in the "messages".

I can help with that. In the same way that you made an account here at chat.hl7.org, there is a chat.fhir.org that you can visit at http://chat.fhir.org/

I see it in there now. That's a good stream with lots of traffic. You may want to just describe your situation, what it is you are trying to accomplish, and indicate that you are looking for information on either HL7 or FHIR.
